Dr. Yuhe Yang

Biography

Dr. Yuhe Yang is currently a Professor in the School of Science at Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen, and has been selected for the National Youth Talent Program. He received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Harbin Institute of Technology, and his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Singapore. His research interests encompass smart materials and structures, biomechanics and mechanobiology, as well as biomanufacturing. He is dedicated to utilizing multidisciplinary approaches across molecular, cellular, and tissue scales to precisely regulate cell behavior and achieve efficient tissue regeneration. Dr. Yang has published 17 papers including Science Advances, PNAS, Advanced Functional Materials, ACS Nano, and Biomaterials. He has received several internationally renowned invention awards, including TechConnect Global Innovation Award, Gold and Silver Medals at the International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva.
