Biography

From 2014 up to 2022 Pavel Utkin had been working as a Senior Research Associate at the Institute for Computer Aided Design of the Russian Academy of Sciences and as an Associate Professor at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT). He has a Bachelor’s degree (2006), a Master’s degree (2008) in Applied Mathematics and Physics and a Ph.D. degree (2010) in Mathematics and Physics from the MIPT.Research

The area of his expertise is Computational Fluid Dynamics of compressible flows. His research includes a lot of problems of high-speed one-phase or two-phase compressible inert or reactive flows using high-performance computing.
